Thank you for being my 4th grade teacher at Academy Street and putting me in a play we did on the playground. Theatre has always been part of my life. Many years later I directed for Dover High School and was thrilled you came to see me and we got to chat. Still involved today, I'm the Theatre Manager for Brundage Park Playhouse in Randolph. Just a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of meeting her when I was a student at Academy Street School. Although I was not her student, I remember quite well as she helped many students in the bilingual program, including myself. Her smile brighten many people's day. Thank you for everything, Mrs. Jerome. May your family find peace knowing how great you were (which I'm sure they knew)!

So sorry for your loss. My memories of your mom start when I was a kid and my mom, Elsie Snyder, worked with your mom as a classroom aide in her room. Then it continued when she came to work at North Dover Elementary where I was working. We had many conversations, lunches and laughs. She was like a mom to me sometimes. I will always remember our lunches, dinners and just good times with Kathy Rutan. Shirley will be missed by many and myself. May you find comfort in you treasured memories. Remember she will always be with you.

Mrs. Jerome was such a kind loving teacher when I had her in 5th grade at Academy Street. She was so calm and never raised her voice, but respected by all students. Fast forward many years later, I had the privilege of working with her as a coworker at North Dover. Such a lovely person inside and out. May she rest in eternal peace. She will be missed by many.

Mrs Jerome how I will miss you ,you brought me and my friend Mary chewey, together in the 4 th grade and we are still friends 53 yrs later, you were a kind and caring teacher and a friend. May god bless you ,rest in peace your work on earth is done. Mary and I will always have fond memories.
