Business owner, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother

Lillian Julia Krovenko Struble, who resided in the home her husband built in Rockaway Township, passed away peacefully on Friday November 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and devoted care giver Lali.

She was married to the love of her life her, Harry Struble Jr., who preceded her in death on September 13, 1983. Lillian was born in Mt. Hope, N.J. on 07/11/1930, the daughter of George Krovenko and Veronica Chabak Crisante. She had four sisters which predeceased her, Mary Krovenko, Veronica Vatuna, Margaret DeRienzo, and Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by her four daughters, Sandra Struble, Darlene Wendling (Paul), Jeneane Farinella (Glenn Serillo), Marlene Udell (John) and her ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Rockaway HS where she was a cheerleader and went on to graduate from Drake Secretarial school in Orange, NJ. She worked as a secretary at Reaction Motors and ultimately became the owner of several Real Estate Holding Companies in Morris County. Lillian was a skilled golfer and was an active member of both Newton Country Club and Flanders Valley Country Club for many years. She held annual memberships at the Metropolitan Opera, loved listening to Pavarotti and attending Broadway shows. She enjoyed sewing, baking, homemaking, and was a world traveler. Family and her faith were most important in her life, Lillian was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 4 – 7 pm.

Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Rockaway on Wednesday November 20, 2024 at 10:00 am.
