Obituary of Jacqueline A Winkler

Jacqueline Winkler, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away in her home in the arms of her husband, leaving behind a legacy of selflessness and love. Born in Dover, NJ, Jackie grew up in Mine Hill with her parents, Edna and Jack Deacon, and her younger sister, Colleen. She later moved to California to pursue her dream of attending beauty school, where she discovered her love for fashion and style.

Jackie enjoyed the vibrancy of New York City and worked there before meeting her future husband, Jeffrey Winkler, through her father. They married on September 24, 1988, and welcomed their first son, Shane, on February 5, 1990. Jackie’s love for her family knew no bounds, and she devoted herself to her boys, doing everything possible to support them.

Jackie had a distinguished career at WalMart, progressing from an entry-level cashier to various upper management positions. In her retirement, she delighted in shopping for trinkets and trying new recipes, all of which were met with rave reviews.

Jackie will be remembered for her selflessness and unwavering love. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece, grammie, and friend anyone could hope for. Her warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Jackie is survived by her sons, Beau and Shane, mother Edna, sister Coleen, Aunt Mary and Uncle Phil, among many others.
