Peter "Pete" W. Kusant, 87, of Mine Hill, passed away Friday, February 12th, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. He was born in Passaic and has been a resident of Mine Hill Township since 1956. He formerly resided in Passaic.
He served in the U.S. Navy and later served 33 years as a Lieutenant with the N.J. State Police Troop B of Totowa retiring in 1985. Upon his retirement he was employed by Randolph Securities for 25 years. Pete was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He loved his N.Y. Yankees and the N.Y. Giants and enjoyed many summers on Long Beach Island with his family.
Beloved husband of Carolee Sue Kusant; devoted father of Peter Kusant and wife Debbie of Glen Rock and Linda Kerwick and husband Bill of Randolph; loving Poppy of Brittany, Kaitlynn, Brianne and Christopher.
Arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 W Blackwell St, Dover, NJ 07801.
