Obituary of Alana Dorrbecker

Alana Dorrbecker (née Ryan), aged 44, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Wall Township, New Jersey. Born on July 3, 1980, in San Fernando, Trinidad, Alana was known for her vibrant energy and the joy she brought to every gathering.

Alana attended Inverness Presbyterian Primary School and Holy Faith Convent before pursuing higher education at York University in Canada. She built a fulfilling career as a manager at Walgreens, where she was respected and admired for her leadership and work ethic.

Beyond her professional life, Alana was a devoted wife to Jayson Dorrbecker and a loving mother to her sons, Justin Ramroop and Noah Dorrbecker. She was the cherished daughter of Allan and Ann-Marie Ryan and a supportive sister to Aleon, Ansil, and Alicia Ryan.

Alana's love for life extended to her hobbies, which included reading and frequent visits to the beach. She had a particular fondness for horror movies and could often be found enjoying chicken wings while watching her favorite films.

She leaves behind a large family who will miss her deeply, including her parents-in-law, Peter and Patricia Dorrbecker, her siblings-in-law, Melissa Ryan, William Henry, Travis, and Luke Dorrbecker, and her nieces and nephews, to whom she was a beloved aunt.

Alana's legacy of kindness, humility, and generosity will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her life was a testament to the love and care she extended to everyone around her, making her a truly remarkable individual whose memory will be cherished.

Visitation from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at  Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) with a Funeral Service at 6:30 pm. Interment is private.
