Obituary of Annemarie Fiechter

In Loving Memory of

Annemarie Fiechter

Nee Mehlhorn, passed August 16, 2024, of natural causes at Merry Heart Senior Care in Succasunna, New Jersey.

Born in East Orange, NJ In Home Mid-wife to German born parents Martha and Carl Mehlhorn. She was preceded in death by her Husband Paul E. Fiechter Sr and Brother Carl Mehlhorn.

 A graduate of Union, NJ High School, employed at Instrument Resistors in union, NJ prior to her marriage to Paul in 1955. Annemarie and Paul lived in Irvington, NJ before relocating to Wharton, NJ in 1960 and finally settling in their dream home on Fords Road in Randolph in 1966. She is survived by Sons Mark & Sonia in Randolph, NJ, Stephen & Ben-Andy in Los Angeles, CA, Paul & Diane in Palmetto, FLA, Grandchildren Jason, Chelsea and their families, her Sister-in-Law, Trude Fiechter, McLaughlin, Clayton, NC, Kurt, Kristina, & Sondra, numerous Nieces & Nephews, Grand Nieces, Nephews and a wonderful extended family.

Annemarie's was a life marked by service inspired and informed by her Lutheran Faith. When she wasn't helping with  administrative efforts for her Dad, Paul's Violin Shop in Randolph, and helping at Handyman's, spending time in her garden at the shop. She would often be found visiting folks in nursing facilities, giving rides to elderly neighbors, driving her kids & neighbors to orchestra practice, donating her time & energy to local charities, non- profits, The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Stanhope, NJ, The Randolph Historical Society, Lakeland Youth symphony, among them.

Her memory is one of Kindness, Faith, and Greatest of all, Love.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11AM.

A Church Memorial Service at The Lutheran Church of Our savior Located at 143 Brooklyn Road, Stanhope, NJ will be announced later in the Fall.
