Obituary of Steven P Nickerson

Steven Patrick Nickerson, 67, of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center with his family by his side.  Steve was born on March 17, 1957 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Carroll L. and the late Marie Onorato Nickerson.

Steve was an Embedded Software Engineer for Siemens Healthineers prior to his motorcycle accident 17 years ago.  He was unable to resume his career, however, he still read and kept current with his professional craft that he loved.  He loved life, was quick-witted and had such a brilliant sense of humor that everyone whom knew him will remember.

A devoted family man; Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Joann (Hueston), his son, Craig Nickerson, his daughters; Nicole Tremper and Jennifer Nickerson, his son-in-law Shane Tremper; grandchildren, Cullen and Kylie Tremper; whom kept him always smiling and laughing.  Additional survivors include, his sister; Marianne McAdams, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.  Steve was predeceased by his sister Patricia Martin.
