Obituary of Christine J. Dziubla

Christine J. Dziubla, devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend died on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the age of 78 years old. Christine was born in 1945 in Gary, Indiana to Joseph and Irene (Manoski) Kralis. Affectionately known as Chrissie Jo, she was the adored little sister to much-older brothers Jerry and Mitch. She was in the first graduating class of Andrean Catholic High School (Merrillville, IN), then went on to Marquette University and earned both a bachelor's and masters degree in speech pathology. She began her career in Milwaukee, WI ,then after her family’s relocation to New Jersey, she taught at The Learning Nest, then Randolph Township Schools until her retirement in 2016.

She had a great joy in spending time with her children and then grandchildren, especially creating special memories together.  Throughout her life was active in volunteering, including P.E.O. and Medhen Orphan Relief Organization (M.O.R.E.). Her mission trip to Ethiopia was a lifetime dream and accomplishment; quite remarkable considering her intense fear of flying. Preferring the train or car, Chris was always game for a travel adventure, especially when tour-guiding Chicago or New York City, or attending a wedding. She loved all kinds of music and theater, attending concerts and Broadway shows at every opportunity. She especially loved Willie Nelson. Christine enjoyed her many close friends – and they enjoyed her.  As an avid foodie, she relished every great dining opportunity, especially when shared with family or friends. Have to mention her satisfaction of solving  WORDLE.
She was generous, kind, and had a great sense of humor, with her unique laugh that ranged from an easy chuckle to a hearty cackle.

She is survived by her daughters, Sara Dziubla of Madison, NJ and Stephanie Dziubla, of Mine Hill, NJ; and her son, Peter Dziubla and wife Beth, of Eldersburg, MD; eight grandchildren: Aleah, Brianna, Kyra, Joseph, Nicholas, Savannah, Blake, and Conor; grand dog Wynnie; and a host of treasured
nieces, nephews, very special cousins, and friends.
