Obituary of Earl Charles Mansfield

Earl Mansfield. 

Passed peacefully on June 27, 2024  with his children at his side. He was born in Mineola NY and was 96 years old.  

He was predeceased by his wife Janet Ennever Mansfield and son in law Kevin DeFreest. 

He is survived by his 3 children, 

Barbara Munjal and her partner Rea Keech, Nancy DeFreest and her partner Bill Goldman, and Robert Mansfield and his wife Carol. There are 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. 

He lived in the Oaks in Denville NJ and previously in Warren NJ and Oakland NJ. 

Earl was an avid golfer for many years as well as a bridge player playing doubles and tournaments over the years. He coached little league in Oakland which he enjoyed immensely. 

Earl served in the Army Air Corps 1946-49. He was graduated from Columbia University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. 

Services are graveside at All Saints in Millington, NJ at noon July 2, 2024.
