We will remember Dennis as a friend who was a man of dignity who lived his life with grace. His humor and ability to tell a story made everyone feel welcomed into his life. Dennis was a neighbor, friend and power of example who so generously gave so freely of himself to help others. We were blessed to have created so many memories with the McManus family while raising our children in Woodcliff Lake. Dennis left us a legacy that will bring us many moments of joy and laughter as his impact lives on. As Ed says, "He was one of the good ones. A very special guy."

We were neighbors in Hazlet and both of us being Brooklyn boys had stories to share. A practice that Dennis started was when he saw me mowing the grass, he would come over with 2 beers and yell “Beer Break”! I would stop and we would chat and enjoy a cold one. In return, I would do the same when Dennis was mowing. Those were good times creating lots of fond memories.
