I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Lil. I'm a musician who has been entertaining seniors for many years, and Lil was a frequent - and very active- attendee at many of those functions. She often hired me to play at her Line Dance luncheons. When age and declining health made her attendance less and less frequent we continued to stay in touch. I was surprised and delighted to see her again after many years when she moved into an assisted living facility that I regularly perform at. She was fun and feisty and charming to the end. My sincere condolences to her family.
My very sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother. I have so many very special memories of how great she was when Jan Belmont and I joined her Line Dancing class. She was such a friendly lady and so special with all she did for us as we struggled to learn to line dance! I have kept in touch with her via e-mail but sadly it has been a while since I have written her. May many good memories remain with those she has left behind.
