I have the fondest memories of Cara from elementary school. She was one of the first friends that I made. I remember even at that young of an age how beautiful she was with her long blonde hair. Over the years we followed each other on social media, witnessing each others lives as we grew up, cheering each other on from the sidelines. It broke my heart to hear the news of her passing. You can easily see how much joy she brought to her loved ones. She was always beaming with light, and that's how I'll always remember her. It’s good to know that she will be with her mom again.
My heart and prayers go out to her entire family and loved ones.

Dearest Mike & Family,
Words could never express how saddened I am for your loss. Cara was unlike anyone I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Knowing Mike since we were kids, I was honored to be asked to photograph their beautiful wedding. It was my first time meeting Cara in person, on her wedding day no less, and she treated me as if we had been friends forever. The warmest smile, the most contagious laugh, and just the kindest heart. Needless to say, we immediately hit it off and I’ve adored her ever since. She fiercely loved her family. She love Mike wildly and it made all of our hearts so full to see (and feel) how big her love was.
I am sending you all love and light and know heaven has gained the most amazing angel who will be with you always.
Warmest love,
Tara Whited & Family

Cara, (Care Bear)
There are no words to say how much we love you and miss you! You have been a big part of our family for many years. We have so many beautiful memories of you at our house. Walking over in the snow because it was too deep to drive over. Sitting by the pool with us. Eating with us and many sleep overs. You are the strongest, kindest, and most loving person we know. We will miss your beautiful smile, that lit up the room when you walked in it. You are at peace now and In the arms of your mom. We will remember you, love you and miss you everyday.
Rest in peace sweet Care Bear,
John and Linda (mama)

This is one of the first adventures Cara and I had 10yrs back. I remember going out around Morristown or NYC, spending the night at my place, and then rushing to work together in the morning. Or a good diner. Cara was always up for good food. I never thought those nights would turn us into close friends. One’s that I had hoped would last a lifetime. I’m thankful for the time’s we had and for being able to call her friend. She was beautiful. ❤️

Cara,
You are and always will be an inspiration to me. The way you managed to always see the positive in even the darkest moments was truly amazing. You were such a bright and beautiful light in this world. Your smile and laugh had the ability to fill any room with joy and love.
I would like to thank you for allowing me into your life and being such a great friend to me. I will forever be grateful to have had you in my life. I hope you know how incredibly loved you are by so many people including myself.
You may no longer be standing here with us on this Earth but your light and love will be with us forever.
Love you!

Cara was like family. It was Definitely an honor to officiate Cara and Michael's wedding. The real honor was when she would call me "Aunt Deb". Her absolutely beautiful smile and caring personality will live forever in my heart ❤️

From the moment I met Cara I knew she was one of the best people I would ever have the privilege of knowing. Her smile was infectious and her laughter contagious. There wasn't a room she entered that wasn't enhanced by her presence. As Mike would so lovingly say, she was a total smokeshow. After her first diagnosis and battle with cancer, she called on me to decorate her friends house in celebration of their engagement. She was house and dog sitting, and wanted to surprise them. Even during her own battles and turmoil she wanted to support and uplift others by sharing her internal happiness and joy for life. She was, and is, the most selfless person I have ever had the honor of calling a friend. She is the true embodiment of being the change you want to see. To a wonderful soul gone too soon, I love you and hope you rest in eternal peace.

Dearest Sister Wife~
You might not know it, but you’re one of the most important people in my life. Funny huh? Which is why I needed to write this letting you know how special you are and thanking you.
You’re a woman I never imagined would be in my life when I started my family. You’re also the woman I’m now so grateful for.
Thank you...
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for making the choice to open your heart a little more.
Thank you for being so patient, because we all know that’s not my strong suit.
Thank you for waking up a little earlier than you need to so you can make him breakfast.
Thank you for going to all his games, especially the ones I couldn't be at.
Thank you for not bad-mouthing me.
Thank you for our perfectly imperfect family.
Thank you for lighting up every room you walked into.
Most of all, Thank you for being you...

I had the pleasure of knowing Cara from such a young age.. we were little church girls when we first met. Cara was ALWAYS kind, helpful, and made sure everyone was included. Even though we lost touch throughout the years, I have always followed her and when she was diagnosed I have prayed for her and followed her desperately hoping for the outcome we all did. What a strong strong woman. I have never seen ANYONE battle cancer with such grace and the smile she had. She was truly beautiful inside and out. I am so happy I ran into her a few months ago after years of not seeing each other, and she looked so gorgeous and just happy. I know she’s up there with the angels and I’m so sorry for this loss to all who loved her. She was truly a gem and will always shine as one.

Cara, we are so sorry for all you weny through. I remember when you were 18 months old, we moved next door to you and your family. 4 beautiful girls, and you were a little doll baby that played with Danielle, then Matt when he got older. The swings, trampoline and the tree in the front yard kept you kids busy. Your mom and dad just loved you so much, and you were so happy. One day you actually fell out of the tree and broke your arm, so sad.
I know this is not what you mom wanted for you, hopefully you are in her loving arms again and at peace.
Cara, we are praying for you and your family, and will keep you close in our thoughts as long as we are here on earth.
You turned in to a beautiful women, and your love will remain with all who loved you. You were a shining ligh!
With heartfelt sympathy
Mary Ellen, Danielle and Matt Dolan
