Obituary of Joseph Gabriel Rampone

Joseph Gabriel Rampone, 72, of Randolph, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. Born in Netcong to the late Paul and Anne (Basenese) Rampone. He was predeceased by his best friend and brother Paul Rampone Jr.

Joe was larger than life, always the loudest in the room.  He loved spending his time on the golf course, especially in vacation spots like Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head.  He was an extreme NY Jets fan, even through all the losing seasons.  From childhood to his college years, he was a great athlete and loved all sports.  Nothing gave him more joy than watching his kids succeed in their life.  His family meant everything to him.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle, pop-pop, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his wife Terry of 43 years; six children Joseph Jr. of SC, Megan and her husband Brian of MD, Shannon and her husband Joseph of PA, Michael, Patrick, and Nicholas of NJ; as well as five grandchildren Joey, Thomas, Erin, Aubrey and James. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 1:00-5:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, Randolph. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
