Obituary of Patricia H. Tummey

Patricia H. Tummey 94, of Randolph, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home of 67 years on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Pat was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, to the late Al J. and Mildred Hoffman. Pat graduated from the Ladywood School and attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods. She met her future husband and moved to NJ after their marriage. Years later, after volunteering at the Fernbrook Elementary School library, she worked as a bookkeeper at Morris View Nursing Home until retirement.

Pat was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church in Wharton. She served as an eucharistic minister, a member of the Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and St. Mary's Happy Hour Club. 

Pat loved cats, shopping, and running. She was a member of the Morris County Striders, where she entered 5K's to late-season 10 miles races.  

Pat is survived by her daughter Anne, son's Chris (wife Ruth), Peter (wife Kathleen), Patrick (wife Christina) and beloved grandson Cameron.

She was predeceased by her husband William B. Tummey and daughter Maryl Sue Tummey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 12:00-2:00PM with service at 2:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ. Interment will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00PM at Divine Mercy Funeral Home and Catholic Cemeteries, Fort Wayne, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Randolph Twp. Rescue Squad or Randolph Animal Shelter.
