Don started out as an advisor, and quickly became a friend through dinners out, seeing Broadway shows to trekking down to AC. We will always remember his impeccable style, his charismatic charm, warm smile and room-filling laughter. Don will surely be missed, and always remain in our hearts!

I met Don in 2003 at David Lerner Associates. We hit it off right away. We became good friends and within 6 months we became partners. It took us 2 years to become in the top 10 producers out of 350 in the company. With the help of Scott Cirelli we built a thriving business. We were a great team. The Big Black guy, the Old Jewish guy, and the Little Italian Stallion. We would have many meetings at our favorite watering spot at the Marriot.
Don always called me the Major, but the real Major was Don. Everyone loved Don. With Don’s personality, my experience, and Scott’s incredible work ethic, we built a beautiful experience for all, including our clients. It was not only fun, but meaningful for all.
I have to personally thank Don for making the last 20 years a great experience for me and my family.
I consider Don one of my brothers, and I will always remember him with love and respect!

He was truly a larger than life person. I shared many moments of laughter with you all. Forever grateful for the friendships. It is often your work colleagues that help get you through a rough workday. Don was indeed one of those colleagues. Jim said to me when I told him of Don's passing, he was one very funny guy. I sure miss those days at The Marriot. Can't hear Barry White without thinking of the old crew. Or Ebony and Ivory. God Speed. Rest in Peace Big Don.

Don and I would commiserate together over the same
disease we both fought. Since I am much older and have had prostate cancer for 14 years, I was certain that I would die first from the disease. However, Don
would always brighten my outlook and convince me
to enjoy my retirement years and be positive about my remaining life. I will miss his optimism and advice
coupled with his fishing adventures on Facebook.

I met Don and Shannon at Shooters Family Billiards. Immediately I knew we would be friends. And we were. I never got to tell Don that he was my hero for something he did a few years back. I kept saying I would tell him at the next tournament but he didn't come. Rest in Peace my friend. I will never forget you.
