Obituary of June Mae Moffatt
June Mae Moffatt (nee Moir), 94, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at The Country Home, Denville. She was born in Glen Ridge to the late John and Elizabeth Moir.
After receiving Christ as her personal savior at age 10 at the Brookdale Baptist Church, she grew into many roles in her faith. She became a Sunday School Teacher, was active in Ladies Fellowship, President of the Women’s Missionary Society with Bethlehem Church. She went on to teach Bible lessons at three nursing homes for over 27 years. June also participated in mission trips to Mexico. She enjoyed visiting local Haitian Churches where her son would preach.
She is survived by her four children Bruce E. and his wife Cheryl of MD, Todd E. of Denville, Drew E. also of Denville and Holly Roth and her husband Andy of Whitehouse Station; three grandchildren Ian, Hayley and Nathanael; three great-grandchildren . She is also survived by her brother John Moir and a host of nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her husband Edward of 55 years in 2006.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 4-8PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Graveside Services will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 10AM at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
On Saturday January 20, 2024, at 10:30 at the Faith Family Fellowship, Dover.
