Dottie and I met and worked on December 15, 1977 at Exxon Mobil Research and Engineering. She spoke kind words in redirecting me back to Christ. After my departure from Exxon many years had gone by before we were able to reunite in Roxbury. A divine intervention had taken place! This happened in or around 1998. What a blessing! She will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure in knowing Dorothy Foote!!

Dorothy was our Administrative Assistant in the Art & Design Dept at County College of Morris. Students would frequently stop by the office. They loved to talk and share their trials and triumphs with Ms Foote. She was truly a people-person.

Dearest Family of Dorothy Foote,
Dorothy was always a selfless and giving friend where ever she worked at the County College Of Morris to her work in her church. She had such a big heart, and always shared her women’s ministry with me and the activities at her church, along with many positive ways of looking at life. Her contagious smile and laughter would brighten anyone’s day and would melt problems away. She has left a beautiful mark on this earth, and she will be remembered in the hearts of so many friends and colleagues. Please accept my sincere condolences. Sending special prayers of comfort, consolation, strength, and love to the family. I loved Dorothy very much.
In prayer,
Dorothy Hollowell

It was my great fortune to know Dorothy the whole of her time at County College of Morris. She was a woman of pure kindness and love who gave of herself without hesitation. Her colleagues respected her, and students valued the many hours she devoted to helping them or just listening to their concerns. Dorothy was not only a woman of great faith; she lived every day as the embodiment of it.
I treasure my years with her and will miss her very much.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

My condolences to the family. I knew her son Jeff and met her oldest son Rik. I would visit her in her office to chat and look at all her pictures of her grand kids and sons. She'd always smile and was a very positive and happy person. I also knew her a very long time. May she rest in peace and her sole go to heaven. She will be missed.

While attending CCM as a student I was employed as an assistant to help with the art rooms. With this position I got to become close with Dorothy. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to know her. She always took time to talk and listen. She shared her wisdom and humor with me. She was a welcoming start to my day and always a sweet goodbye when I left. There are definitely angels that walk among us, souls that are sweet and pure, and Dorothy was one. Thank you Dorothy and my CCM family for being a second family to me.

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
