Obituary of Michael Joseph Del Vecchio, Jr

Michael J. Del Vecchio, Jr. born July 29, 1960 – passed away August 31, 2023.  Raised in Dover, NJ by his mother, Carol Del Vecchio (who predeceased him) and his father, Michael J. Del Vecchio, Sr.  Beloved brother to Frank, Kevin and Bryan Del Vecchio and Maria Overton.  Cherished uncle to Nicholas, Luke and River Del Vecchio.  Resided in Dover, NJ with his devoted wife, Christine. 

Michael's many accomplishments include producing The Sanctuary Concert Series, President of the Tri-State Railway Historical Society and successful Trainmaster for Morristown & Erie Railway and WATCO, Inc.  

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s RC Church, 425 W. Blackwell Street, Wharton NJ on September 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to Tri-State Railway Historical Society (tristaterail.org) or The Folk Project (folkproject.org).
