In Loving Memory: Celebrating Emily “Lee” Liss

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emily “Lee” Liss, a remarkable woman who brought love and compassion to everyone she touched. She departed this world on August 6, 2023 at the age of 75, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering love for animals.

Emily was a loving mother to her son David, whom she raised with the same values of compassion and empathy that defined her life. In later years, Lee found immense joy in the role of a grandmother to her cherished grandson Trevor. Her legacy lives on through her passion for animals and the lessons she taught them about the importance of showing kindness to all living creatures. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10. Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com) with a Memorial Service to begin at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home.  Interment is private.

Lee’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the animal rescue organization Eleventh Hour Rescue in Lee’s honor online at: www.ehrdogs.org or mailed to: Eleventh Hour Rescue, PO Box 218, Rockaway, NJ 07866, to continue the legacy of love and care for animals that she held so dear.

May her soul find eternal peace, surrounded by the very creatures she held so close to her heart.
