Obituary of George Wayne Cole, Sr.

George Wayne Cole, Sr., 75, of New Holland, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA. 

George was born on June 5, 1948 in Dover, New Jersey. He met the love of his life and childhood sweetheart, Diana (née Scerbak). They married at Sacred Heart Church in Dover on June 10, 1967 and had an amazing loving marriage for 56 years. 

In 1967 George began his career at Metem Corp. in Parsippany, for nearly 30 years. George then moved and worked as a Sales Manager for H&H Manufacturing, Philadelphia. 

George was a man of strong faith. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. His core values of love and humility, integrity, honesty and affection will truly be missed by all who knew him. 

He enjoyed RV camping and car shows. He enjoyed listening to oldies music, going for long car rides and truly spending time with friends and his family. His favorite sport was football. 

George is survived by his beloved wife Diana; two sons George Cole, Jr. and Robert Cole. George is also survived by his cherished four grand children Alexia, Madison, Skylar and Clayton. 

Visitation 10:00 AM - 12:00PM on Thursday July 27th At Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will take place 12:30 PM at Sacred Heart Parish, Dover. Interment to follow at Millbrook Cemetery, Randolph.
