Obituary of Matthew B McFarquhar

Matthew Brian McFarquhar passed unexpectedly on April 20, 2023.  He was 41 years of age. Born June 6th, 1981, at Pascack Valley Hospital

Matthew was a proud father, beloved son, brother, cousin and friend.

He spent most of his life   in Jefferson Twp NJ and was a true J- town kid. He played little league baseball and basketball; played pond hockey and got lost in the woods. He loved spending his time with family

and friends and was a lifelong Devils fan.

Matthew graduated in the year 2000 from Jefferson High School and worked many years with Homestead Irrigation and had a true passion and gift for his trade.

Most importantly he was loved and will be missed by those with whom he forged lifelong relationships.

He is survived by his daughter Gabriella, mother, and father Dorma and Kenute, brother Kevin and his wife Sarah, niece Ava, and her children, cousin and best friend Vidal Faust, and dozens of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held at Tuttle funeral home in Randolph NJ on May 27th, 2023, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
