Obituary of David John Fanelli

David J. Fanelli, 65, of Blairstown, NJ passed away suddenly on April 17, 2023 after battling many years of health challenges.

David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nothing more than tending to his property and many gardens, spending time with his family, friends and grandsons, cooking everything from his famous homemade pizza to any gourmet dish, spending hours on each meal. He loved a good dirty joke and cold Bloody Mary. 

David was a great but long-winded storyteller who shared his wealth of knowledge on just about everything with just about anyone who would listen. 

David is survived by his loving wife Marie Fanelli and his step-children, Angela Giordano (Brian Pupos) and Joseph Giordano (Jessica Cicchino).  He leaves behind his two grandsons Hunter and Luca who will always be the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Donna (James Lutton III) and their two children Jennifer Lutton (Herbert Seignoret) and Duncan (Lisa Lutton) and many loving cousins. David was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Patricia.

Memorial Visitation Friday, April 28, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ (Tuttlefh.com) followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00PM.
