Wallace Dietz, known to everyone as Joe Dietz. 87 years old, passed away at his home peacefully on January 5, 2023. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Joe lived in Dover New Jersey for 87 years. He was a proud lineman for JCP&L for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending his summers camping at Seashore campsites in Cape May, New Jersey. He loved to fish and loved cooking breakfast. He was a dedicated Yankees fan. President of the Dover, Little League, and a friend to all. 

Joe was the reunited in heaven with his parents, Helen and Joseph Dietz. Survived by his beloved wife, MaryEllen Dietz and nine children. 

Cindy Tiger (Glenn) JoAnn Ricci (Mike) Gail Mauriello (Andy) Mary Dietz, Sharon Wagner(Don) Joseph Dietz (Robyn) Maura Lorenzo (Leo) Eileen Toscano (Jeff) and Diana Stasiak (Corey) Grandchildren 22 and Great Grandfather to 15. 

We will forever miss his sense of humor and his Morning calls.

A public visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph, NJ 07869 on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.  There will be a funeral Mass held at Sacred Heart Church 4 Richards Avenue, Dover, NJ 07801 on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00am followed by interment at Locust Hill Cemetery 168 North Sussex Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
