Carmello LaCapria AKA Mr. Adorable

July 7, 1937 - December 7, 2022

Died in his home with his loving family beside him.  Carmello resided in Dover, for 50 years, with his late wife Philomena & two daughters.  He is survived by his two children, Leah Keyes and Erin Loescher, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Born in Brooklyn, NY. The son of Vincenzo and Sadie La Capria.  In his early years, Carmello proudly served his country as a Navy Reservist. He took pride in a 35 year career as a draftsman at SIAC in NYC.  He loved working in his garden, running marathons, all day hikes, horseback riding with his daughters. He loved pizza on Fridays, watching "All in the Family" with his family, creating unique gadgets at his work bench and barbecuing for his family reunions.  He would always make a welcoming gathering place.  He was a loyal, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Charlie, continually searched for a truer meaning to life's purpose. He had a deep knowledge and passion for fitness & nutrition. He was often the go-to guy for others with lingering ailments.
 

Visitation will be Friday, December 16 from 3PM - 7PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph

Funeral Service 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 Also at Tuttle Funeral Home.

Interment Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
