Obituary of Margaret E Lake
Margaret Elaine Lake passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022 in Port Orange, FL . Elaine was born July 27, 1927 in Wharton, NJ to Frank and Olive Ridgway. She graduated from Summit High School in 1944 and from Newark Presbyterian School of Nursing.
Elaine and her late husband, Victor Lake, married in 1946 and lived in Dover, NJ for 42 years. They had two daughters; Sheryl and Judy. Over the years she worked as a nurse at Dover General Hospital, for Dr. G.L. Nicoll and Dr. Edward Luczynski. She was a member of Starlight Chapter, OES.
Elaine is survived by a daughter Sheryl Lukas of Port Orange, Fl, four grandchildren: Jeanette Jueckstock (Paul) of Port Orange, FL; Joseph Lukas of Port Orange, FL; Alyson McDonnell (Quint) of Roslyn. PA and Jason Strover (Lauren) of Haw River, NC. She also is survived by six great-grandchildren: Elaina Lukas, Paulie Jueckstock, Lena Jueckstock, Pyper McDonnell, Taylor Strover and Grayson Strover. She also leaves a brother, Frank Ridgway of Ventura, CA and son-in-law, Russell Strover of Newton, PA. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Victor Lake, her daughter Judy Strover, and her sister Dorothy Bowler.
Visitation at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ (Tuttlefh.com) on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 9:00AM - 10:30AM with a Funeral Service at 10:30AM. Interment at Stanhope Union Cemetery, Stanhope, NJ.
