Obituary of Maria L Agront

Maria Agront, 89, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Aguada, P.R. and has resided in Dover since the early 1950's. She was a self-employeed entrepreneur, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Maria was a long time member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church now affiliated with Sacred Heart Church in Dover, Legion of the Holy Rosary, and was very active in Dover's Hispanic Community Affairs.

She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Herminio Agront, and son, Edwin Agront. Maria is survived by her six children; Rosa Nealon, Dora Kruger, Migdalia Russo, Harry Agront, Frances Maietta and Hector Agront. Her brother Bienvenido Traverso of Puerto Rico, fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren also survive her.

Visitation: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Dover.

Interment: Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
