Obituary of Margarita Nappi

We are saddened to announce the death of Margarita Nappi, 79, of Andover, NJ.  She passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends. Margarita grew up in Caibarién, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States with her mother and sisters when she was a teenager.  One of her early jobs in the U.S. was at the Bulova Watch Company in Queens, NY, where she assembled watches and modeled for their trade magazine. Margarita later worked at Optel in Princeton, Revlon in Edison, and Goebel in Pennington, NJ.  She enjoyed listening to the music of Rod Stewart, playing Mahjong with her friends, and sitting by the lake with her husband.  Margarita was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and spouse.  She leaves behind her beloved husband, Joseph Nappi, her three children from her first marriage: Vivian, Franco and Vanessa Chiaramonte, her grandson Joseph Deibert, and her sisters Irene Fernandez and Norma De Armas. 

A wake will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869. A mass will be held on Friday August 5, 2022 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 S Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a one time donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her honor.
