Obituary of Anna Rae Jordan

Anna Rae Jordan was born January 3, 1946 in Morristown, NJ to the late Gage and Evelyn (Wylie) Foote.  She departed this life on July 26, 2022 at the Morristown Medical Center (New Jersey) after an extended illness.

Anna graduated from Morristown High School in 1964 after which, she was employed by Bell Telephone Company in Morristown.  She was later employed with the Morristown Court System as a clerk, Macy's Department store in Morristown, and as a Morris School District Bus Aide working with disabled children.

Anna was joined in holy matrimony to Teddy Jordan in 1967. To this union were born three sons, Alonzo Scott, Deon Alan and Sheyne Victor.

Anna accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boonton, NJ where she maintained active membership until joining Calvary Baptist church in 1994.  At Calvary she enjoyed being a member of the nurse's unit, the Unity Choir and was an active participant in the church's Wednesday Night Bible Study before becoming disabled.  She will be lovingly remembered for her quiet, reserved personality, her love for some good gospel music, her special wasy of being "stylish, sassy and sweet all at the same time," her funny wit and sly sense of humor. And oh how she loved the Lord and her family!"

She leaves to cherish her life; three sons, Alonzo Scott, Deon Alan, an Sheyne Victor; grandson, Ajhand; granddaughter Somer Victoria; brother, Timothy Foote of Weymouth, MA; sister, Ollistine Davis of Bear, Delaware; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
