Obituary of Janice Elizabeth Johnson

Janice Elizabeth Johnson, 72, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Pine Acres, Madison. She was born in November 1948 to her parents Richard Dorsey Hartshorn and Laura Bell Grier in Morristown.

She attended Boonton High school and resided most of her life in New Jersey, working with Bell Telephone, Exxon and Ashland Chemical before moving to Florida.  She returned to Rockaway, New Jersey in 2020 to be with her family.

Janice had a passion for music, dancing and shopping while spending quality time with family and friends.  She was well known for spoiling her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Johnson, sons Corey Johnson and Jason Johnson and her sibling Catherine A. Hartshorn James.  She is predeceased by her parents Richard Dorsey Hartshorn and Laura Bell Grier.

Visitation 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church 10 Martin Luther King Ave, Morristown with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.

Interment is private.
