Obituary of Gladys Martinez

Our precious mother, wife and grandmother, Gladys Martinez, passed away in her home on Friday, June 10, 2022. 

Born September 28, 1938 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. On November 7, 1959 she married her husband of 62 years whom she had two children with. She devoted her life to her family, leaving her career when her first grandchild was born in 1992. She enjoyed cooking and making sure everyone who entered her home left with full bellies. She also enjoyed going shopping with her sisters and taking zumba classes.

She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband (Eduardo), children (Irene and Edward), and grandchildren (Sirena and Brandon).

Viewing will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ on June 16 from 4pm-8pm. The funeral will be held the following day, June 17 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Dover, NJ.  Burial services will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
