Obituary of Paul Tomaszek

Paul Tomaszek, 61, of Dover, passed away Thursday, November 12th, 2015, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. Paul was born in Passaic and grew up in Garfield. He was an alumni of Villanova University, PA where he was enrolled in the ROTC and was a programmer/consultant for ADP for over 30 years.
Paul was a member of the Shongum Sportsman Association, Oxford, he shot at the League every Tuesday and was a member of the "Night Shift" in the League. He also competed in Police L and NRA Pistol Matches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as the National Championship at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio. Paul was also a regular participant and contributor to the Indoor Range Work Parties. He was never afraid of work and his specialty was the Bullet Trap maintenance and cleaning. He raised the work to an art form. He was an avid motorcyclist, belonging to the British Riders Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed over 20 cruises, some of them being wonderful family cruises.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathleen; two step-children Frederick of Laurence Harbor and Roxanne and her husband Michael of Jackson; four step-grandchildren Jessica of NC, Logan of Brick, Christopher and Amanda of Jackson; his brother James of Whiting and his sister Ann and her husband Richard of Montville. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and many other family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015, 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015, 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Parish, Dover. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
