Obituary of Rose Nalbach
Rose Nalbach passed peacefully while sleeping in her home in Toms River NJ on Saturday, February 5, 2022. While Rose spent her latter years in Toms River she was born and raised in Jersey City a town which she loved passionately. Living in the city and growing up as the only daughter with three brothers molded her fiery spirit. While you can "take the girl out of the city, you could never take the city out of the girl!" While Rose held a variety of jobs her primary focus was caring for her parents, being a wife, raising her son and spoiling her three grandsons. In January she and her husband Joe celebrated their 64th Wedding anniversary! She was a devout Catholic and graduate of St. Bridget's High School. Rose was very proud of her Italian heritage and was a member of the Italian American club. She loved cooking and her specialty dish of baked ziti will be missed especially during the holidays.
She is survived by her husband Joseph P. Nalbach; son Joseph A. Nalbach and his wife Dawn; three grandchildren Joseph R., Stephen A., and Michael P. Nalbach; as well as her brother Richard Dragotta, his wife Francine and many loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Gaspare and Peppina Dragotta and brothers Frank and Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, 10:00AM- 12:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30PM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment is private.
