Dorothy J. Thorpe, 82, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 4th, 2013 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown, PA from complications of Alzheimer's.
Dorothy was born in Scranton, PA and has been a resident of Bethlehem, PA for 22 years. She spent most of her life in Dover, NJ.
She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Dover, NJ.
Survived by her son Stephen of Stroudsburg, PA and her daughter Amy Haggerty of Bethlehem, PA; two grandchildren Laura Haggerty and Henders Haggerty. Also survived by her sister Janet Dyson and her brother John Hansell. Predeceased by her husband Herbert H. in 1996 and her brother Richard Hansell.
Calling hours Saturday, September 7th, 2013, 9:30 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the Grace United Methodist Church, 98 North Sussex Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
