Obituary of Richard John Crump

Richard John Crump loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully on February 2, 2022. He was born in Passaic NJ and later moved to Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Richard was a loyal employee to AT+T in Bridgewater for many years until retirement. He was a proud veteran and was still an active member of the Marine Corps League #1039 of White Haven PA, VFW Post 18661 of Whitehaven, Central Jersey Leathernecks Post #861, and  Amvets Post #9 of Berwick PA. Richard was a competitive shooter, an avid NY Yankees fan, but above all he loved spending time with his family. 

Richard was the loving husband to his beloved wife Sharon Crump. He was the devoted father to Fred Hartmann and his wife Chrissy of Lynnwood, WA, Michael Crump of Hopatcong, Steven Crump and his wife Giselle of Hopatcong. He is survived by his 3 grandchildren, Shaun, Liam, and Declan, his great granddaughter Faith, his sister Diane Demakis and her husband James of Bradenton, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by his 2 sisters Gloria and Carolann, his brother Edwin, and his first wife Mary Ellen. 

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8 2022 from 4-8PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). A Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 9 beginning at 10AM at St. Therese R.C. Church in Succasunna. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richards memory to Wounded Warrior Project.
