Obituary of Nina Patricia Ford
Nina Ford, 87, of Dover NJ., was called home on Friday, January 7, 2022. Her wonderful life’s journey began when she was born in her childhood home in Dover, where she returned to live in the twilight of her life. Nina attended Dover High School and graduated in 1952, where she excelled in the classroom, was Class President, President of the Girls’ Athletic Association, and Captain of the Field Hockey team.
Upon graduation she attended the Berkely School of Business. She worked as a Librarian at the Dover Public Library for more than 20 years. She then landed her dream job at Rutgers Law School, where she was a beloved Law Librarian and coworker for 41 years, retiring at the young age of 80.
A loving mother, she is survived by her four children Gary and his wife Carole of NY State, Sandra and her husband Robert of Long Valley, Jason and his wife Krista of Washington Township, and Kelly of Newark; as well as her four loving grandchildren Ryan, Tyler, Dylan and Hailey. She is also survived by her brother Donald Lansing, Richard Lansing, her nephew and her many nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Mina Lansing; and her brothers Wilbur (Fox) Lansing, Russell Lansing, and Jack Lansing.
She was deeply loved, will never be forgotten, and will be forever missed until we see her again.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Tuttle’s funeral home with a funeral service on Thursday, January 13 at 10:00 am, followed by her entombment at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover at 11:30 am.
