Dear Family of Maryann~
Photo is of Maryann with George in our Yoga class. (Somehow I cannot adjust photo to be vertical...my apologies)
Each of us is born one day, we die another day and have an unknown number of days to live in between. Maryann Southard, our dear friend and fellow Yogi, seemed to fill those days with generosity and enthusiasm for life….whenever she was in a room, you could feel her passion for life.
I have, and her many yoga friends, have known her through Yoga for two decades (at CCM, the hospital, the church, garden yoga). Maryann touched many lives and readily offered her help in a heartbeat if anyone was in need. After retiring, she offered her time at The Seeing Eye….first washing dog bowls (and there are a LOT of dog bowls at The Seeing Eye) and upon completing that task, would help us in the offices. She loved to travel and loved her yoga practice and her fellow yogis…
We are all blessed to know certain wonderful people in our lives…people who touch our hearts and inspire us. I feel that way towards Maryann.
I am grateful for the time we had with her….Thank you Maryann for being part of our lives…We will continue to look for you and think of you on Tuesday evenings….Namaste Maryann
