Obituary of Thomas A. Oddo

Thomas A. Oddo of Landing went home to God on Monday, October 19, 2015 peacefully. He was born in Jersey City on October 7, 1945, the son of Alfonse Oddo and Sara Parisi, both of whom preceded him in death. He also joins his beloved sister Barbara Scott. In 2004, after many years in sales, Tom began a religious and inspirational gift store (In the Spirit Gifts) in Randolph that he developed into not only a thriving business but a place that truly became part of the surrounding community. His Faith, generosity, loving spirit, sense of humor and love for life touched many and will certainly be his legacy. He was also a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Carla, his son Thomas G. Oddo and wife Kammy, his daughter Deborah A. Snyder and husband Jeff and his son David M. Oddo and wife Alex. He also leaves behind his grandchildren who were his pride and joy; Matthew and wife Kathryn, John, Allison, Samantha, Michaela, Kyle, and Paige. In addition, he is survived by his brother John Oddo and sister Mary Boehm. Tom will also be greatly missed by his extended family, beloved Resurrection Parish Family, and friends.
