Obituary of Stella Bertha Papalos

Stella Bertha Papalos, 78, of Morristown, passed away following a long illness on Friday, September 3, 2021 at University Hospital, Newark.  She was born in Pittsburg, PA and was a resident of Morristown, Morris Plains, and formerly Ledgewood NJ.

Stella was a parishioner of Ss. Nicholas, Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Roseland, the Morristown Women’s Club and Choir, Choir member of the Roseland Church.  She touched so many through her kindness, loving and selfless ways.  Stella loved to sing, was an avid cook and loved to entertain. 

She is survived by two children Ann Lemon of St Louis, MO and Michael John Papalos and his wife Michelle of Morristown; two grandchildren Evangelina and Alexandra. She is predeceased by her son Theodore in 1995.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 3:00-5:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Divine Liturgy will be held of Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Ss Nicholas, Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Roseland. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
