Obituary of Robert Van Brunt

Robert Van Brunt, 76, passed away on August 27, 2021 following a short illness. Born in Jersey City, he resided in Carlstadt, Shongum, Chester and Manchester before moving to Lewes, Delaware several years ago.

Bob was employed at the family's Dairy Queens in Morris Plains & Chester, NJ from 1962-1988, when he rertired.

Bob was a big NASCAR fan, and was a regular attendee at Flemington and East Windsor Speedways.

Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Phyllis Van Brunt. Bob is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Byrne of Lewes,DE, with whom he lived, and Linda of Georgia. He is also survived by several nephews,nieces and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Tuttle Funeral home in Randolph, NJ from 10:30am 11:30am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
