Per Simonsen, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at home surrounded by his family Saturday July 3, 2021. Per was born in Spindanger, Norway on June 11, 1933. He came to United States in 1949. He built his house in Randolph 1959.  Per was a proud Veteran that served in the Army during the Korean War. Per was also a loyal employee to Claremont Wall Systems there he retired from his position as a union carpenter.

Per is survived by his wife Marie Simonsen of 62 years. He is survived by his  3 children and their spouses, Bonny Lee Ames, Geoffrey Ames, Cindy- Lou Orshonsky, John Orshonsky, and Peter Simonsen. He is also survived by his sisters, Ida Marie Ermann of Pinellas Park, Florida and Kirsten Thuen of Morris Plains, NJ as well as 6 grandchildren Kathyrn, Alyssa, Kelly, Erik, Andrew, Derrick and 1 great grandchild- Sophia.  .

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 Randolph Township, NJ from 4:00 pm - 8:00pm, 6:00 pm will be the service. (www.tuttlefh.com)

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 10:00 am at Cemetery of First Presbyterian Church, 99 Main Street, Succasunna, New Jersey.

 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Per be made to Bethany Evangelical Free Church located at 30 Ashwood Terrrace, West Orange NJ
