ALISON  MCHALE’S BIO

Alison McHale, a loving wife, sister, godmother and pet owner, died on June 1, 2021, at her home in Randolph, New Jersey. She was 69.

Alison was born on October 19, 1951, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Dr. John McHale, Jr. and Claire Lennon McHale. She graduated from Los Alamos High School in Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1969. She attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she majored in Special Education.

In 1985, Alison moved to Stanhope, New Jersey to be an AT&T manager. After spending a year in Chatham, New Jersey, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1988, where she was the administrator for the AT&T National Sales School.

Alison met Donald J. Kleckner in Parsippany, New Jersey in 1985 and they were married on June 13, 1988.

In 1992, Alison and Don relocated to Randolph, New Jersey, where they have lived ever since.

Alison was a lifelong lover of animals. She was particularly fond of bloodhounds and was known for the adoration and care with which she showered her pets. Over the course of her life, Alison was the loving caretaker of dogs Buster, Jeff, Gus and Jed and the cat Murphy.

During her time at AT&T, Alison was responsible for moving the company’s national sales school from Denver to Cincinnati. She was part of teams that were responsible for setting up regional sales offices and call centers across the country.

In 1998, Alison retired from AT&T and began a two-year stint with Prudential Insurance, helping that company set up call centers around the country.

In 2000, Alison retired from Prudential in pursuit of her passion, which led to her earning a New Jersey skin-care specialist license.

From 2001 until her death, Alison owned and operated The Spa at Randolph, LLC, where she developed many close and lasting relationships with staff and clientele alike.

Alison was preceded in death by her parents, Claire and John, and her brother, J. Lawrence McHale, III.

Alison is survived by her husband, Don, and her sisters, Joan and Elaine.

A memorial service will be held for Alison at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph, New Jersey, on July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. She will be interred at the McHale family plot in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on July 13.
