Obituary of Jean M Verdi
Jean M. Verdi 88, of Dover passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at home with her loving family.
She was a wonderful mother, cook and baker. No one was allowed to leave before eating one (two or three) of her made from scratch meals, or at the very least one of her many varieties of delicious cookies. She was extremely generous; she loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her three children Linda Cicak and husband Nicholas of Dover, Aldo and wife Elizabeth of Budd Lake, and Denise Ridner and husband Ed of Dover, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren: and her two sisters Dorothy Bellassai and Theresa Callazzo.
She was predeceased by her husband Aldo and her daughter Karen.
There will be a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
In lieu of a wake and flowers, the family request for donations to be sent to one of the following foundations in her memory.
