Ina Jacqueline Taitel (nee Kantor), 74, passed away peacefully on 10/12/15 from cancer. She was born on December 31, 1940. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Chuck Taitel, her brother, Arnold Kantor and his wife Rita, sister-in-law Ethel Kantor, daughter Janice Taitel, son Larry Taitel and his wife Lisa, son Andrew Taitel and his wife Fran, and daughter-in-law, Haya Taitel Becker. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren: Rebecca, Matthew, Samantha, Daniel, Ariel, Zoe, Seth, Alexis, Eliana, Benjamin, William, Elijah, Joshua, and Miriam, and 1 great grandson, Yitzchok. Ina was born and raised in Boonton, New Jersey to Murray Kantor and Ann (Rosenfeld) Kantor. She attended Montclair State University where she earned a degree in Speech Therapy. In 1960 she married her high school sweetheart, and they moved to Parsippany where they raised their 3 children. In 1967 she and her husband founded Landice Products Corp., a manufacturer of treadmills. They worked side by side until the day they sold it in 1986. They also founded another company, Convertech, which is now owned and run by her son Larry and his partner Bob Gensheimer. In the 1990’s, Ina and her husband were active in the Free Loan Society and in aiding Jewish families that emigrated from Russia. Their generosity has left a lasting legacy on their community. For the past 35 years, she and her husband have split their time between their homes on White Meadow Lake, NJ and in Bolton Landing, NY. She and her husband traveled extensively, visiting England, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Galapagos Islands, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, and Alaska. They also chartered sailboats and sailed throughout the Caribbean. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace. Flowers will not be accepted. Please consider donating to Hadassah instead. Visitation today, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM with the service at 11:30 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
