Obituary of Don Mangione

Don “Donnie” Mangione, 72, of Randolph, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.  He was born in Newark and was the Owner of Manco Ind., Newark and later in Irvington.


He was heavily involved in Randolph recreation programs - whether with his Men’s softball team Manco or coaching his children. His larger-than-life personality left an everlasting impression on everyone he knew and loved. 
 

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Roberta “Bobbie”; his five children Stacy and Dan Baker, Kristina and John Cumming, Gina and Randy Theerman, Nicole and Matthew Lufft and Antonio and Honeah Mangione; and his eleven grandchildren Jake, John Jr., Max, Maggie, Lilah, Olivia, Grace, Madelyn, Lukas, Rosina, and Donald Jr.  He is predeceased by his father and mother Antonio and Marie Mangione and brother Nicholas Mangione.  He is also survived by his four brothers, Ciro, Anthony, Bobby, and Johnny Mangione and three sisters, Roslyn Barletto, Joanne Piacenza, and Cathy Velardi.
 

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 4, 2021, 4pm-7pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 5, 2021, 10 am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover.
