Reflecting on many fond memories of you and one that comes to mind is the day that you and Uncle Gene brought us our dog Crackers to us in Pequannock. Your warm demeanor and kindness will always be remembered.
Dear Aunt Flo,
You were a shining star in my life. I will miss our long conversations which always focused on our loving family. You felt that your life had been blessed both as a young girl and then as a married woman, referring to Uncle Gene as "Mr. Wonderful", and indeed he was.
I cannot stop thinking about how your peaceful rest came on The Epiphany, one of your favorite Feast Days and also the name of the church that you attended while living in Florida. I know for sure that you are in heaven.
My earliest memory of Aunt Flo was when my Mom, my Grandma Rose and I stayed with her (and Uncle Gene) at their home in Venice. I still remember picking fresh grapefruit for breakfast in her backyard—then, off to the beach with Paris (and later Tristan) to search for shark teeth! As I grew older, I came to appreciate the rich family history that Aunt Flo shared about my Grandmother and all her Luciani siblings. I will miss Aunt Flo’s smile, spirit, and her love for reading, dogs, and above all, family.
Many fond memories of Aunt Flo and Uncle Gene coming to visit us in NJ, NY and PA. We would always get so excited when the car with Florida plates would appear in our driveway. Rest In Peace Aunt Flo, I’m sure you will be greeted with open arms by all of our family members in Heaven.
