Obituary of Sheila Ann Miller
RANDOLPH NJ – Sheila Ann Miller, 83, of Randolph, NJ and Spring Lake, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 after a prolonged illness.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Sheila also lived in Oradell, NJ for many years. She also spent summers in Breezy Point NY, and in Spring Lake NJ. After a successful career as a vice president for JP Morgan Bank in New York City, Sheila retired to Spring Lake where she enjoyed her time with many friends. Sheila was an avid community volunteer, active on St. Mark’s social concerns ministry, as well as the Spring Lake Woman’s Club where she was a past-president. Sheila’s faith and Irish heritage were strong and she enjoyed sharing them with her family and friends. She always had a warm smile and a great sense of humor that served as a foundation to build so many lasting relationships over her lifetime.
Sheila is survived by 4 nephews, John Potter & wife Marie, Brian Potter & wife Karen, Ray Potter & wife Christina and Denis Potter & wife Kim. She is also survived by 9 great nephews and nieces who adoringly called her “She-She”: Sean, Jessica, Katie, Eric, Matthew, Caroline, Michael, Kaitlyn, & Conor. The Potter family would like to say “Thank You” to all of Sheila’s friends that were so kind to her during her life’s journey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthew the Apostle Parish. The mass will only be for family, but will be streamed live on the church's website Wednesday, January 6th at 11AM.
