Michael C. Fitzgerald, 67, of Rockaway, passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2015, at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. Michael was born in Summit, and has been a resident of Rockaway for 40 years. He was a Grocery Buyer for King's Supermarkets for 35 years. Michael was an avid bowler and loved to play golf, and loved to ride his motorcycle. He received his BS Degree from Seton Hall University, where he graduated from in 1970. He is survived by his wife Karen of 45 years, three children Leigh-Ann Borella and husband Wayne, Erin Doorly and husband Kevin, and Keith; three grandchildren Sara, Nicholas and Leo, two brothers Bernard and wife Sheila, and Francis, and his sister Ann Gladziszewski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00PM - 9:00 PM, Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Thursday, October 1st, 2015, 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Rockaway. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to The National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016.
