Beverly J. Foight (nee Wittmus), beloved wife of Lloyd S. Foight of Denville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at age 79.  She was the daughter of Mildred and Harold Wittmus, late of Lakewood, Ohio and Largo, Florida, and sister of Karen Zagol of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia.  Bev. Was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Lakewood, Ohio, where she me Lloyd in the Lakewood Christian Church youth group.  They married in 1963, after she graduated from Kent State University and he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.  They lived in 20 places during their lives together, many of them due to Lloyd’s military assignments.  They moved to Randolph, from Fairview Park, Ohio in 1982 when Lloyd was a partner with KPMG LLP, and later to Denville, in 2006.  After retiring from KPMG in 1996, Lloyd joined Hirschfeld, Stern, Moyer & Ross in New York.  He is presently Executive Vice President of Global Health Sciences in New Brunswick.

Educated as a teacher, Bev.  Taught grade school in Cleveland, Mountain Home, Idaho and Edgemont, California.  In New Jersey she worked in the Medical Records Department at Comprehensive Cardiovascular Consultants in Morristown, before retiring in 2013 after 19 years.  In retirement, Bev. Enjoyed traveling to place that included Ireland, England, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and mainland and China.  One of her goals in life was to visit all 50 states, which she completed several years ago.  Her favorite destination was Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

Besides being a Mother, Wife and Grandmother, Bev. was an energy in her own right.  She volunteered with her Alpha Gamma Delta alumni groups in Ohio and New Jersey, worked at the voting Polls, ran two PTA’s, played in several bridge groups, was a consummate hostess and partner to her husband. She typed his papers for graduate school at The Ohio State University, hosted holiday parties for his staff and their friends, and kept in touch with friends literally from coast to coast.  She kept house in Florida as well as New Jersey, traveled the country with a travel trailer and boats, assisted political campaigns and led neighborhood groups. But her true passion was her family.

Beverly is the mother of four children; Susan (Matthew) Kovar of Marblehead, MA; Sandra (W. Nicholas, Jr) Klose of Verona, NJ and Red Hook, NY; Sharon (Keith) Schallenkamp of Verona, NJ; and William (Carrie Carr) Foight of Sinking Spring, PA.  She is the grandmother of nine: Caitlin Klose, Maggie Foight, Nicholas Klose, Emily Foight, twins Matthew and Jacob Foight, Kai Kovar and Ella and Ava Schallenkamp.  She was proud that all her children graduated from college and she was devoted to them all.  She reveled at being with the grandchildren, and especially enjoyed her time with the youngest as they came along. She will be lovingly missed by those who knew her, especially her grandchildren.
