Obituary of Betty Evelyn Rittger

Betty Evelyn Rittger, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at home.  She was born in GlenRidge, NJ and raised and lived in Bloomfield, NJ for most of her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.  The majority of her professional career was at PSE&G as a key punch operator. She is going to be missed by her family and friends.

Betty is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn Dougherty and Arthur Myers who moved to Bloomfield, NJ to raise their family. She is survived by her two children, Lynmarie Gearhart and Frank Rittger; her son-in-law, Timm Gearhart; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Rittger;  four grandchildren, David, Kaitlyn and Mikaela Gearhart and Katie Rittger; her sister, Joan Wissinger; and her brother, Buddy Myers. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, from 5:00-7:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Succasunna Presbterian Cemetery.
