Luigi Catizone, 84 of Randolph, passed away at home on Sunday, September 13th, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Magisano, CZ, Italy, and has lived in the United States since 1979, when he moved to the U.S. from Italy with his wife and seven children. He was the true definition of the American Dream. Luigi worked for the Morris School District for 17 years, and was also self employed.
He is survived by his wife Emilia of 54 years, seven children Pete and his wife Carmela, Gina Lia and her husband Gino, Clementina Yazdani and her husband Vahid, Chitty and his wife Laura, Maria May and her husband Chris, Massi and his wife Amanda and Antonella Luthy and her husband Erik, fourteen grandchildren MaryJane and her husband Lloyd, Sal, P.J., Stephanie, Louie, Alexander, Matthew, Daniel, Ariella, Annmarie, Christina, Reno, Lorenzo, Massimiliano and two on the way. Also survived by six siblings Rosario, Antonio, Maria, Ermelinda, Benito, Vincenzina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015, 4:00-9:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015, 10:30AM, at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum, Morristown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation, 790 Estate Drive, Suite 180, Deerfield, IL 60015.
